Teen-age Romances v1 #20, 1952 - Packed with Matt Baker art, this comic begins with his nuanced cover of a college girl's secret. All three of his stories have small-ish panels which often squeeze in plenty of dialogue. In "Confessions of a Farm Girl", a farmer's daughter who falls for a wandering amnesiac, while a pretty coed's actions end her relationship with her best friend in "My Dangerous Pastime". All three Baker stories benefit from large, spacious opening panels. The best among these occurs in "I Was a Love Gypsy" (see interior page below), about a neighborhood flirt who dates multiple boys. Other artists in this golden age comic include Frank Thorne. This is 20 of 42 Teen-age Romances issues by Baker.
