Ghostly Tales v1 #107, 1973 - Steve Ditko's tale is set in the 1500s, during the height of the Italian Renaissance. Two sculptors compete to create the greatest work of art, but one is more recklessly ambitious. Ditko uses line to simulate texture and shade throughout. His compositions are excellent, but his drawings merely meet expectations. The layouts for the sci-fi tale "The Anywhere Machine" is credited to Wally Wood, but Tom Sutton's finishes pretty much bury anything recognizable. In fairness, I've chosen not to rate this story, which was later reprinted in Space War v2 #30. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Wayne Howard. This is 34 of 61 Ghostly Tales issues by Ditko.
