Sin City: A Dame to Kill For v1 #3, 1992 - After failing to rescue his love Ava, Dwight enlists a friend to run interference while he tries again to breach her husband's compound. Marv, from the first Sin City serials, makes an appearance in an overlapping timeline with the first Sin City episodes in
Dark Horse Presents. Roughly half the story is set in Josie's Bar, with background scenes that occurred previously.
Frank Miller's artwork is a tad less polished, but still at a high level. His cover, featuring the two protangonists, more than compensates. This is 3 of 6
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For issues by
Miller.
