Stories of Romance v1 #5, 1956 - Employed at a small bookstore, Helen becomes smitten with the handsome new manager, whose mind is always on business. Delicate lines permeate each of Matt Baker's drawings, often accentuating the female characters. The large opening panel shares the main character's point of view with the readers. The print reproduction seems to slightly break down on the final page, but in general the work is representative of Baker's thoughtful approach.
