Epic Illustrated v1 #9, 1981 - In the final chapters of the Metamorphosis Odyssey, the fabled Infinity Horn is blown, changing the circumstances for the immortal wizard Aknaton and Vanth Dreadstar. Jim Starlin ends his science fiction epic with both a bang and a whisper. A few pages use an analogous color palette, with aesthetically pleasing results. His drawings have textural details not seen in his earlier bronze age works. This issue also includes artwork by Charles Vess. Cover by Tim Conrad. This is 9 of 13 Epic Illustrated issues by Starlin.
