Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #157, 1953 - Donald Duck challenges Uncle Scrooge's claim that he can accomplish anything with his money. This leads them to a race to the top of Demon Tooth mountain. To ensure a win, Scrooge places zoo animals on different levels to slow Donald's ascent. The variety of animals alone make for more interesting scenarios.
Carl Barks' artwork is both lively and engaging. Most impressive is his use of depth and perspective to add a realistic touch to the story. This story was later reprinted in
Uncle Scrooge #101. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is 117 of 280
