Happy Comics v1 #35, 1950 - A pair of Frank Frazetta works occupy this issue, the first about a self-conscious elephant in India, and the second about a fox who bullies his woodland neighbors. Both are surprisingly well drawn for the funny animal genre, but "Paleface" has the larger illustration and slightly more detail. Indeed, there's a exotic flair not often seen in this series, all due to Frazetta's ethnic costuming and background cityscape (see interior page below). Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 15 of 17 Happy Comics issues by Frazetta.
