Happy Comics v1 #35, 1950 - A pair of
Frank Frazetta works occupy this issue, the first about a self-conscious elephant in India, and the second about a fox who bullies his woodland neighbors. Both are surprisingly well drawn for the funny animal genre, but "Paleface" has the larger illustration and slightly more detail. Indeed, there's a exotic flair not often seen in this series, all due to Frazetta's ethnic costuming and background cityscape (see interior page below).
