New Teen Titans v1 #1, 1980 - An alien strike force arrives on Earth seeking a female fugitive from the planet Tamaran. After debuting in DC Comics Presents #26, the Teen Titans begin a new series with a modified roster. Existing members Robin, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl are joined by Raven, Starfire, Cyborg and Changeling (formerly Beast Boy). This series directly competes against Marvel's popular X-men series. Written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by George Perez and Romeo Tanghal, this title ran for a respectable forty issues. Cover by Perez.
