Fantastic Four #29 - Jack Kirby art & cover + 1st Watcher cover

Jack Kirby
Fantastic Four v1 #29, 1964 - What's worse than being harassed by the unseen residents of Yancy Street? Being transported back to the surface of the moon by the Red Ghost and his trio of super apes. Jack Kirby's drawings take a turn for the better, due to Chic Stone's supportive inks. Kirby also employs monotone photographic effects for the first time on the series. The Watcher also guest stars, appearing on an FF cover for the first time. This story was later reprinted in Marvel Collectors' Item Classics #21. This is 29 of 116 Fantastic Four issues by Kirby. /// key 1st cover Watcher
