Fanboy v1 #1, 1999 - Sergio Aragones introduces Fanboy, the ultimate comic book fan. This six-issue series pokes fun at the stereotypical male collector through various situations. Guest inkers abound, including pages 7 and 8 by Bernie Wrightson. His inking style is so different from Aragones' pencils, it's pretty much unrecognizable. Although he should be lauded for the attempt, the artwork mostly disappoints (see interior page below). Other artists in this issue include Matt Haley and Jerry Ordway.
