Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #251 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #251
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #251, 1961 - Leaving the Chinese restaurant, Donald Duck reads an ominous warning from his fortune cookie and chooses to ignore it. Carl Barks complicates matters when he inserts lucky Gladstone Gander into the story. The layouts are fairly tame, using panels of similar size (except the opening). Barks' artwork, however, is dependably engaging. This story was later reprinted in >Walt Disney Comics Digest #26. Other artists in this issue include Paul Murry. This is 211 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
