Jack Kirby / Steve Ditko |
Fantastic Four v1 #14, 1963 - Sub-mariner kidnaps the Invisible Girl, drawing the rest of the team to his underwater lair. Behind the scenes, the Puppet Master manipulates them all. With the exception of the first two pages,
Jack Kirby fills this issue with uninspired layouts. His drawings are lackluster, except perhaps those that feature the Sub-Mariner's odd-looking oceanic creatures.
Steve Ditko inks this issue's Kirby cover, but offers little benefit to the between-the-legs vantage point. This is 14 of 116
Fantastic Four issues by
Kirby.
