Planet of the Apes #25 - Marshall Rogers art

Planet of the Apes #25
Planet of the Apes v1 #25, 1976 - This issue features part three of the adaptation of Battle for the Planet of the Apes. Sonny Trinidad is the principal story artist, but Marshall Rogers inexplicably does the opening splash. The artist recaps Earth's disastrous past with an effective transition of modern to melting skyscrapers (see interior page below). This in turn nicely segues into the central characters below. Artfully designed, the page outshines the rest of the story art. Other artists in this bronze age science fiction comic include Ken Barr, Yong Montano and Dino Castrillo. This is 1 of 1 Planet of the Apes issues by Rogers.
