Epic Illustrated #14 - Jim Starlin art

Epic Illustrated #14
Epic Illustrated v1 #14, 1982 - During a prolonged war in the distant future, one man steps onto the battlefield to advocate for peace. This Jim Starlin tale looks perfectly orchestrated, from his chaotic opening splash to the climactic ending. The craftsmanship of both his drawings and layouts comes through on every page. Most impressively, they were designed to work best in black and white. Also notable in this magazine is a sumptuous Elric of Melnibone tale by P. Craig Russell. Other artists in this science fiction magazine include Rick Veitch, Arthur Suydam, Paul Kirchner, Ralph McQuarrie and Lee Marrs. Cover by P. Craig Russell. This is 10 of 13 Epic Illustrated issues by Starlin.
