My Own Romance #65 |
My Own Romance v1 #65, 1958 - Sally's focus on a singing career leaves her little time for love. This tale is a mediocre effort by
Matt Baker, with only a handful of recognizable panels. Perhaps inker Vince Colletta made too many alterations. In "I Met My Love Again", a young woman clings to her memory of an ideal man. The artist is more assertive on this second tale, and make have inked it himself. The large opening panel shows promise, but remaining pages fall short. Note that both Baker stories are not attributed to him in comic guides. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jay Scott Pike. This is 6 of 14
My Own Romance issues by
Baker.
