1st Folio v1 #1, 1984 - Showcasing the work of students from the Joe Kubert School, the issue is lushly printed on decent quality paper. The artist’s influence is evident in most of the stories, in varying degrees, Kubert himself supplies the fine fantasy-themed cover and a two page Sgt. Rock tale. This previously unpublished story was apparently drawn in 1979. Finely drawn and lacking dialogue, the imagery does the bulk of the storytelling. Other artists in this copper age comic include Andy Kubert and Ron Randall.
