Star Reach v1 #3, 1975 - Hired by a coterie of wizards. a barbarian named Dragonus is tasked with fetching a rare venom. Meticuluously drawn, this fantasy tale rivals some of Frank Brunner's best work of the bronze age. His shading and cross-hatching more than compensate for the lack of color. The artist's wrap-around cover nicely previews the interiors. This story was later reprinted in The Unknown Worlds of Frank Brunner #2. Other artists in this issue include Steve Leialoha and Mike Vosburg. Note that there may be 2nd and 3rd printings of this issue with variations in the cover price. This is 1 of 3 Star Reach issues by Brunner.
