Star Reach v1 #3, 1975 - Hired by a coterie of wizards. a barbarian named Dragonus is tasked with fetching a rare venom. Meticuluously drawn, this fantasy tale rivals some of Frank Brunner's best work of the bronze age. His shading and cross-hatching more than compensate for the lack of color. The artist's wrap-around cover nicely previews the interiors. This story was later reprinted in The Unknown Worlds of Frank Brunner #2. Other artists in this issue include Steve Leialoha and Mike Vosburg. Note that there may be 2nd and 3rd printings of this issue with variations in the cover price.
