Fantastic Four v1 #39, 1965 - Stripped of their powers, the FF try to survive on their own with the aid of the man without fear. Interestingly, all Daredevil figures throughout the story are inked by Wally Wood (DD series artist at the time). The enhancements do not detract from Jack Kirby's adept pencils, as far as I can see. The interior artwork still fares better than the stiffly designed cover. This is 39 of 116 Fantastic Four issues by Kirby and 1 of 2 Fantastic Four issues by Wood.
