Thor v1 #270, 1978 - Gaining a new mysterious master named F.A.U.S.T., Blastaar attacks the thunder god with new fervor. Walt Simonson's penchant for designing machinery emerges briefly on pages 8 and 14. Unfortunately, his work overall doesn't meet his usual standards. Even with two splash pages, the story art remains mediocre. Mostly due to the sloppy inking, Simonson's drawings (including the cover) are unrecognizable. This is 11 of 55 Thor issues by Simonson.
