Phantom Stranger v2 #6, 1970 - Confronting a couple in their convertible, a headless horseman rears his black horse menacingly. I'm not convinced the castle in the background was necessary, but
Neal Adams' superb drawing skills more than compensate. Note that this is the first time the artist places the title character in the background, making him more of an observer than a participant. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Mike Sekowsky. This is 4 of 17
