Happy Comics #22 |
Happy Comics v1 #22, 1947 - Three separate text stories feature a robin, a kitten and a squirrel, yet they all share the same conceit over their good looks. This is unusual as the series typically tries to convey different lessons to their younger comic book audience. Frank Frazetta seems to deliver only the bare minimum for the illustrations. While the layouts are less than adequate to adequate, his artwork lacks the verve of other issues in the series. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 3 of 18 Happy Comics issues by Frazetta.
