Basically Strange v1 #1, 1982 - This one-shot magazine collects comic stories from various sources. Two reprints worth noting feature art by Alex Toth (Red Circle Sorcery #8) and Wally Wood (Archie's Super Hero Comics Digest Magazine #2). Published here in black and white, I recommend getting the full color originals instead. Note that both stories were enlarged to fit the magazine format, with mediocre results. Other artists in this issue include Vincente Alcazar, Rick Bryant and Frank Thorne. Cover by Richard Corben. All interiors in black and white.
