Batman #362 - Don Newton art

Batman #362
Batman v1 #363, 1983 - A string of clues force the Batman to figure out the Riddler's next big heist. Interestingly, his origin is briefly recapped for unfamiliar audiences. As usual, Don Newton's pencils are labored over by Alfredo Alcala, diminishing the work overall. Some of the better scenes include a confrontation at an abandoned carnival (pages 7-9). Newton's best page by far is his opening splash of an airborne Batman. Other artists in this copper age comic include cover artists Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano. This is 17 of 32 Batman issues by Newton.
