Eerie v3 #87, 1977 - On an unnamed planet, a young boy named Max takes on the mantle of Hunter 3, a hero with a robotic sidekick. Alex Nino retains the story's humor amid the sci-fi settings. A different design for each horizontally formatted page is employed. There are varying levels of complexity, but later pages become more convoluted. This story was later reprinted in Future World Comix #1. Frank Frazetta's cover painting is reprinted from Vampirella #7. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Leo Duranona, Jose Ortiz, Leopold Sanchez, Luis Bermejo and Richard Corben. This is 1 of 5 Eerie issues by Nino.
