Stories of Romance v1 #13, 1957 - Working as a car hop, Jan longs for the time between school and work to find a boyfriend. Matt Baker's artwork has a strong start, but partially diminishes toward the end. His striking first page incorporates a full figure drawing of the main character. Placed next to smaller panels, the overall effect seems multi-dimensional. Subsequent pages are more lackluster, probably due to the repetitiveness of the same six panel grid. Other artists in this golden age comic include Vince Colletta. This is 2 of 2 Stories of Romance issues by Baker.
