The World Around Us v1 #31 / Hunting, 1961 - An informative look at the history of hunting, segments covers different eras of history. Jack Kirby's opening splash and related story are dynamically rendered. Increased details also make these efforts stand out from his other World Around Us issues. Somewhat less effective is Kirby's "An End to Slaughter", chronicling Teddy Roosevelt's impact on the sport. Like other issues in this series, dialogue is scarce but narration is plentiful. Other artists in this issue include George Evans and Sam Glanzman. This is 2 of 5 World Around Us issues by Kirby.
