Savage Sword of Conan #54 - non-attributed Neal Adams art

Savage Sword of Conan #54
Savage Sword of Conan v1 #54, 1980 - Neal Adams contributes to a single page in this issue, providing the inks on a Conan vs. snake demons pin-up. Carl Potts' composition is generally mediocre. The pencils do benefit from the additional fine detailing, but only marginally. Note also how Adams' division of light and dark increases both depth and perspective. Although uncredited in comic book price guides, both artists' signatures appear on the bottom right. Other artists in this magazine include Dave Wenzel, Gene Day, Ernie Chan, John Buscema and Ricardo Villamonte. Cover by Earl Norem. This is 5 of 6 Savage Sword of Conan issues with Adams.
