Creepy #105 - Alex Nino art

Creepy v1 #105, 1979 - In the distant future, citizens of Earth decide to banish frivolity by exiling all circus clowns to the moon. Alex Nino's complex drawing style was always suited for futuristic stories and this tale is no exception. His layouts are conservative but thoughtful. Fine details work beautifully on the opening splash, but may have not reproduced as well on other pages. Nino still combines whimsy and technology like no other artist. This story was later reprinted in Creepy #119. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Val Mayerik, Rafael Auraleon and Russ Heath. This is 9 of 14 Creepy issues by Nino. /// Nino gallery
