World's Finest Comics v1 #273, 1981 - In this dollar comic's Shazam tale, the evil Dr. Sivana is nominated for a Nobel prize. Don Newton more or less captures the perplexing, yet lighthearted tone of the story. His drawings are friendly and approachable, perfectly suited for a bronze age Captain Marvel adventure. This story was later reprinted in Shazam! The World's Mightiest Mortal #3 and Best of DC #23. Other artists in this copper age comic include Joe Staton, Trevor Von Eeden and Bob Smith. Cover by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano.
