Going Steady v1 #10, 1954 - Matt Baker perfectly captures a young couple's tenderness on this aesthetically pleasing cover. There's a nice contrast between the outdoor foliage and the building's modern architectural style. Note also the girl's hands and fingers, artfully and delicately placed. The palette of primary colors is basic, but no less appealing. One of the inside Baker stories, "Trouble's Daughter" is reprinted from True Love Pictorial #3. This issue also includes artwork by Bob Brown. This is 1 of 5 Going Steady issues by Baker. /// key 1st issue
