Batman v1 #378, 1984 - Hypnotized and under the Mad Hatter's control, Nocturna becomes a weapon against the Batman.
Don Newton's final work on the series is admirably drawn. Two splash pages bookend the story's constantly changing layouts. Alfredo Alcala's inks usually suppress the pencils, but in this case seem much more collaborative. The title splash on page three is an exceptional example. Note the contrast with Newton's cover, where Dick Giordano's inks retain more of the original intent. This is 32 of 32
