Nightmare v3 #20 - 1st John Byrne art

Nightmare v3 #20
Nightmare v3 #20, 1974 - A demolition crew begins work on an old castle, only to find an unforeseen inhabitant. John Byrne's first professional work in comics is a mere two pages, but does a more than adequate job. The layouts and sequencing belie his inexperience. His drawing style is recognizable, and not dissimilar to other works from the same period. It also helps that Duffy Vohland's finishes are very compatible. Other artists in this issue include Ricardo Villamonte. This is 1 of 1 Nightmare v3 issues by Byrne. /// 1st start John Byrne
