Our Army at War v1 #127, 1963 - When new recruits make assumptions that Sgt. Rock is cold and unemotional, the veterans recount stories that reveal the man's complexities. Unlike other stories in the series, "4 Faces of Sgt Rock" is a full length saga that takes up the entire issue. As usual, it's artfully drawn in gritty detail by Joe Kubert. The only disappointment is that the cover replicates the opening splash. This was later reprinted in DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest #7. Other artists in this silver age comic include Sheldon Moldoff. This is 64 of 236 Our Army at War issues by Kubert.
