All-Star Western #60 - non-attributed Alex Toth art

All Star Western #60
All-Star Western v1 #60, 1951 - Jeff Graham, the Roving Ranger, travels to reputedly crime-free Sonora County, where things are not what they seem. Alex Toth's pencils are polished a bit too much by inker Bernard Sachs. The drawings themselves are not very distinctive on their own, particularly the odd perspective on the opening splash. Toth's conservative layouts also hinder, rather than help, in the final results. Other artists in this golden age comic include Gil Kane and Carmine Infantino. This is 3 of 6 All-Star Western issues by Toth.
