Adventure Comics v1 #497, 1983 - Concluding the Challengers of the Unknown adventure, the team travels to Las Vegas to solve the mystery of their sabotaged plane. Like many of his bronze age works, Alex Toth gambles with inventive page and panel designs to enhance his drawings. More action occurs in the story, allowing for more daring layouts. This reaches an apex during the final scene, as chaos ensues at a crowded casino. The digest also contains several reprints, including a Neal Adams tale from Spectre #4. and Ultra Boy's debut in Superboy #98. Other artists in this digest include Gil Kane, C.C. Beck and Jim Aparo.
