Witchcraft #2 - Joe Kubert art

Witchcraft #2
Witchcraft v1 #2, 1952 - Traveling through Antarctica, explorers unearth remnants of viking weapons but have they awoken their spirits as well? While the pencils are less than adequate, Joe Kubert's inks breathe considerable life into the artwork. His kinetic style emerges more on some panels more than others. Kubert's biggest impact is the opening scene, where an enraged viking metaphorically towers over the main characters. Other artists in this golden age horror comic include Sid Check and Nodel Alascia. This is 2 of 2 Witchcraft issues by Kubert.
