Teen-age Romances v1 #39, 1954 - A city stoop becomes the backdrop for teenage flirtation on this straightforward Matt Baker cover. As usual, his figure drawings convey the characters' moods and intentions. Like a beautiful picture, the girl is framed within the building's architectural elements. Baker is also represented by two interior stories: “I Stole Boyfriends” (originally titled "Breaking Hearts Was My Hobby") was reprinted from Teen-Age Diary Secrets #4, “I Made a Sinful Bargain” originated from Pictorial Romances #8. Other artists in this golden age comic include Chuck Miller.
