G.I. Combat v1 #61, 1958 - Frenetic and full of action, Joe Kubert's cover is comprised of few elements. The skier makes a strong and obvious focal point. An oncoming plane and distant mountaintop provide supporting elements to the layout. And yet, even a partial reveal of the soldier's face would have humanized the scene.
