Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #156, 1953 - Donald Duck adapts a crop-dusting plane into a handy dandy rain-maker. He's able to move any cloud and seed it to produce an exact amount of rain. When he sees his girl Daisy on a date with Gladstone Gander, Donald goes a bit too far.
Carl Barks' creativity is matched only by his delightful illustrations. The first few pages are especially good, showing off Donald's talent for shaping clouds into complex forms. Unfortunately, Barks put far less effort into his cover. This story was later reprinted in
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #368. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is 116 of 280
