Teen-age Temptations v1 #3, 1953 - Getting married on an impulse, sixteen year old Janice realizes her mistake and leaves home. Sex was rarely implied in romance comics, but the morning after the wedding night is clearly conveyed (see interior page below). As usual, Matt Baker portrays the characters and settings with realism and elegance. A combination of framed, unframed and oddly shaped panels enhance already polished layouts. Baker's cover, unrelated to the story, reliably meets expectations. Other artists in this golden age romance comic include Arthur Peddy and Ric Estrada.
