Teen-age Diary Secrets v1 #NN (no number) (#5), 1949 - In "I Liked Older Men", a teenager drives a wedge between a husband and wife in order to have him for herself. This tale of deceit and manipulation is ably drawn by Matt Baker. His artwork accommodates a large amount of dialogue, while staying fairly conservative. This is among his earliest romance tales, before Baker begins to improve and influence the genre. This story was later reprinted (and retitled "Crazy for Love") in Pictorial Romances #11. Other artists in this golden age romance comic include Lily Renee.
