Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #95, 1948 -
Carl Barks delights his readers with his terrific cover, although unrelated to his opening story. Donald Duck competes with Gladstone Gander to raise money for Daisy's club. In desperation, he spies his nephews' booby-trapped piggy bank. Barks' figures and faces continue to be more more expressive. More texture and details appear to be added as well. This story was later reprinted in
Donald Duck #259. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is number 64 of 280
