Amazing Spider-man annual #2 - Steve Ditko art & cover

Steve Ditko
Amazing Spider-Man v1 annual #2, 1965 - Doctor Strange and Spider-man meet for the first time, bringing together two of Steve Ditko's greatest creations. Can these heroes stop the sorcerer Xandu and his powerful Wand of Watoomb? The artist brings his penchant for surrealistic worlds and effects from his work on Dr. Strange tales. Curiously, Ditko's brilliant inventive forms (see interior page below) are nowhere to be seen on the cover. This story was later reprinted in Doctor Strange #179 and Giant-size Spider-man #4. Rounding out this Marvel silver age superhero comic are reprints from Amazing Spider-man #1, #2 and #5. This is number 2 of 2 Amazing Spider-Man annual issues with Ditko art and/or covers (not including reprints).

What did John Romita contribute here?

Nothing. Romita came later to the series. Thanks for the heads up.
