Queen of the West Dale Evans v1 #10, 1956 - Newly escaped from prison, a convict aims to murder each person responsible for putting him away. In the second feature, a man labeled as a coward looks for the chance to win the hand of the sheriff's daughter. Both tales are sufficiently drawn by Russ Manning, whose wholesome style seems tailor-made for the series. "The Heroic Coward" benefits from a large, panoramic scene on page 9 (see below) but both stories meet artistic expectations in general. Other artists in this golden age comic include Sparky Moore.
