Incredible Hulk v2 #359, 1989 - Wolverine and the Thing burst onto the scene, just as the Hulk battles with the Abomination. John Byrne puts equal emphasis (more or less) on the four figures while they jockey for position. While the scene is frenetic, the composition has balance and clarity. Byrne's final work on the series elicits the same excitement as his earlier issues. Other artists in this copper age comic include Jeff Purves and Marie Severin.
