Phantom Stranger v2 #7 - Neal Adams cover

Neal Adams
Phantom Stranger v2 #7, 1970 - Sinister tree branches reach out and ensnare a passing motorist. The man's body twists and contorts in an effort to escape. This horrific scene is expertly drawn by Neal Adams, aided by the somber color palette. The Phantom Stranger glides past in the background, seemingly neutral to the event. Other artists in this issue include Jim Aparo. This is number 5 of 17 Phantom Stranger issues with Adams art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Adams or Phantom Stranger issues.
