Haunted v1 #11, 1972 - Rather than being married to her cruel lord, Lady Catherine instead chooses to plunge to her death. Despite the rigid six panel grid, Steve Ditko compensates with free-flowing and freely rendered drawings. His initial pages are impressive, using careful linework and design to pique interest (see interior page below). The rest of his artwork begins to slightly wane with each subsequent page. Overall, the story retains a unique look and feel that only Ditko can accomplish. Other artists in this bronze age horror comic include Pat Boyette, Joe Staton and Jack Abel. This is 9 of 23 Haunted issues by Ditko.
