Adventure Comics v1 #465, 1979 - Exploring the Antarctic coast, Aquaman discovers an advanced Nazi civilization living just below the surface. Some page layouts are better than others, but Don Newton's pencils appear a tad watered down by Dan Adkins' inks. Depth and modeling are less evident on pages 1-4 (specifically Aquaman's battle with an unknown sea creature). Overall though, the collaboration between these two artists generally meets expectations. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Jim Aparo, Joe Staton and Jack Abel. This is 5 of 8 Adventure Comics issues by Newton.
