Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #43, 1944 - Huey, Louie and Dewey do everything possible to avoid taking their bath, including evading their persistent Uncle Donald. Carl Barks' drawings are clean and concise. Many panels present the barest of information, but the approach seems to make the pacing and layouts more efficient. Bolivar, the ducks' large dog, plays an integral part of the sight gags (see interior page above). This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #300.
