Space Adventures v1 #12, 1954 - This cover design is Steve Ditko is at his most bizarre. A buxom spacewoman calls in to Earth, oblivious to the multi-armed creature crossing the threshold. The alien seems more goofy than dangerous, while the astronaut inexplicably wears high heels. On the plus side, the colorful appendages contrast nicely against the gray metal background. Other artists in this golden age science fiction comic include Joe Shuster, Seymour Moskowitz, Dick Giordano and Vince Alascia. This is 3 of 17 Space Adventures issues by Ditko.
